Quilmes “A” fue el gran ganador del Summer Trophy desarrollado durante el fin de semana en el estadio Sintético Panamericano con organización de MDQ 06 HC. Los quilmeños se quedaron con el título en Primera A en las ramas femenina y masculina.
En la rama principal femenina (Primera “A”), se repitió la misma final que en 2019, incluso con muchas de las mismas jugadoras en cancha. Italiano, el campeón defensor, se enfrentaba con Quilmes “A” en un duelo cerrado y duro para ambas, pero durante los 40 minutos de partido, no pudieron doblegarse y por eso, tuvieron que acudir a los Shoot Out. Ahí, el premio mayor se lo llevó Quilmes que ganó la serie por 3 a 2
Los varones no se quedaron atrás y brindaron un espectáculo de alto nivel competitivo para un partido que tuvo distintas variantes. Los protagonistas fueron Ciudad de Buenos Aires “A” y Quilmes “A” que jugaron a mucha velocidad y precisión. Los quilmeños se pusieron primero en ventaja, luego llegó el empate y finalmente la victoria quedó en manos de Quilmes por 2 a 1 para llevarse el trofeo de campeones.
