El pasado domingo 28 de septiembre, Montevideo fue sede del Torneo Sudamericano de Shaolin Kung Fu (Shaolin Chuan 2025), un evento que reunió a delegaciones de Uruguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Perú y Paraguay, además de contar con la presencia de monjes del Templo Shaolin y representantes de la Embajada China en Uruguay.

En ese marco, el Lao Shi (profesor) Facundo Munist Márquez, cinturón negro 3° Thuan y director de la escuela Long Hun Shaolin, representó a Quilmes y a la Argentina en la competencia. Oriundo de San Francisco Solano, se consagró campeón sudamericano al obtener la medalla de oro en la categoría Formas de Puño – Fajas Negras (+30 años).

Con más de 17 años de trayectoria en el arte marcial del Kung Fu Shaolin, Facundo es profesor y director de la Escuela Long Hun Shaolin, que funciona en la Sociedad de Fomento 12 de Diciembre, ubicada en la calle 842 N° 1985 de San Francisco Solano. En redes sociales, se lo puede encontrar en Instagram como @longhun_shaolin, donde comparte actividades y logros de su escuela y alumnos.
