Los goles del «cervecero» fueron anotados por Leandro González, al minuto del primer tiempo, y Justo Giani, a los 19m del segundo. Marcelo Larrondo, de tiro penal sobre el cierre del partido, logró el descuento para el conjunto de Victoria.
Sava inició su segundo ciclo en el club con un triunfo merecido: González abrió la cuenta en el inicio del partido, con un zurdazo cruzado tras un rebote cedido por Marinelli; y Giani, con un toque casi en la línea tras un centro del propio González, la cerró en el complemento, etapa en que la superioridad de Quilmes fue notoria.
Tigre respondió con alguna reacción en la primera etapa y luego de la temprana desventaja, aunque las imprecisiones de tres cuartos de cancha hacia adelante y el estado del campo de juego, afectado por la lluvia, le impidieron generar peligro.
Recién logró el descuento en el último suspiro, con un penal de Larrondo, abajo a la izquierda de Ledesma.
Los de Néstor Gorosito se quedaron con 22 puntos y Quilmes, que busca recuperar terreno en la pelea por meterse al Reducido por un ascenso a la Superliga, suma ahora 19.
